Delta’s largest-ever trans-Atlantic schedule takes flight

Delta Air Lines has launched its biggest trans-Atlantic schedule, providing customers with an extensive array of travel options to breathtaking destinations.

With 77 routes and 32 destinations across Europe and beyond, the airline’s newly expanded service boasts a remarkable 30% increase in seat capacity compared to 2022, allowing travellers to enjoy over 650 weekly flights during peak summer.

From the bustling hubs of Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York-JFK, and Detroit, Delta connects passengers to amazing locations like the golden beaches of France’s Côte d’Azur, sun-soaked Mediterranean islands, and historic cities brimming with culture. As the largest U.S. carrier during peak summer in Italy, Iceland, France, and Greece, Delta provides unparalleled access to these popular holiday spots.

The airline has recently launched 32 routes in the past three months, with Atlanta serving as a key departure point. Delta now offers daily flights between Atlanta and Tel Aviv, as well as new daily connections to Nice, France, complementing existing service from New York-JFK. Additionally, travellers from Atlanta can now embark on direct flights to Edinburgh, Scotland, perfect for exploring the scenic highlands and majestic castles.

As the leading global carrier at LAX, Delta reconnects customers to Paris with a year-round daily route, strengthening its position ahead of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 and LA28. The airline has also resumed daily non-stop service from Los Angeles to London Heathrow, catering to the high demand for summer travel.

Delta’s trans-Atlantic schedule from New York-JFK now offers more than 230 weekly departures to 26 destinations. Passengers can enjoy new additions like Geneva, as well as the return of seasonal favourites such as Reykjavík, Venice, Prague and Copenhagen. London Gatwick and Berlin have also been reintroduced to Delta’s route network, restoring pre-pandemic flying capacity to 2019 levels.

From Detroit, Delta operates daily flights to Rome, inviting customers to explore the wonders of the Ancient Roman era. Additionally, the airline now provides brand-new daily service to Reykjavík, opening up exciting possibilities for adventure seekers.

Regardless of the cabin class, Delta ensures a comfortable and confident travel experience for all passengers including Delta One or Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. Delta One customers can indulge in lie-flat seats, premium facilities, and delectable four-course meals, while Delta Premium Select passengers enjoy spacious seating, enhanced dining, and hand-crafted amenities. All cabins feature seat-back screens with complimentary premium entertainment via Delta Studio, in-seat power, and high-speed Wi-Fi options.

As Memorial Day weekend marked the start of a bustling summer season, Delta remains committed to delivering excellent and seamless travel experiences.
