The Alpes-Maritimes prefecture announced on Monday that “traffic and parking on the public highway by people claiming to be supporters of the Olympique de Marseille club or behaving as such, as well as access to the Allianz stadium in Nice, are prohibited from Wednesday February 9 2022 5:00 p.m. to Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00 a.m.according to the prefectural decree published on Monday, relayed by theAFP.
Olympique de Marseille supporters will therefore not be able to make the trip to Nice on Wednesday evening during the quarter-final of the Coupe de France against the Aiglons. A decision after the events during the Nice-OM meeting, at the Allianz Riviera, leading to an invasion of the field and altercations between supporters, players and members of the team staff.
