German police infiltrate prison to convince suspect in Madeleine McCann’s abduction to confess to crime –

The decision by the German police came after a friend of Christian Brueckner revealed to authorities that the suspect, who lived in Portugal between 1995 and 2007, had revealed to him details about the disappearance.

German police have sent an undercover investigator to the cell where Christian Brueckner, the main suspect in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, is serving a prison sentence. The idea, says the British newspaper The Mirror, would be for the German to confess to the crime, as he had done with a friend.
