Arsenal ‘very close’ to Jesus signing
After much speculation over the past few weeks, Arsenal are now said to be ‘very close’ to signing Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus this summer in what would be a huge deal for the Gunners as they set about solving their attacking issues.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been heavily linked with the Brazilian forward following the end of the Premier League season last month and it seems as though a deal is imminent for around €50-60 million, according to Brazilian journalist Rodrigo Oliveira via Sport Witness.
Jesus has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at Man City despite being the club’s only out-and-out striker and with the arrival of Erling Haaland this summer, he is keen for pastures new in order to find more regular first team football.

Hickey bid submitted
Arsenal have begun the process of capturing Bologna defender Aaron Hickey this summer by submitting a bid for the Scottish youngster, having been linked with a move for him over the past month.
Mikel Arteta is looking to boost his squad following the disappointment of missing out on the Champions League and one of the areas he wishes to strengthen is at left-back, with Hickey his top target. Fellow Scotsman Kieran Tierney was ruled out for the last part of the season through injury, while Nuno Tavares struggled to settle during his first campaign.
And it appears that the Gunners are going full steam ahead in their attempts to land the Scot, with Gazzetta dello Sport, via Metro, reporting they have submitted a bid in the region of £22m to the Serie A side.

Richarlison makes Everton admission
Everton striker Richarlison is said to be open to a summer move away from the club following almost four years at Goodison Park, in which the Toffees narrowly missed out on relegation this year in a hugely disappointing campaign.
The Brazilian forward has reportedly already told Frank Lampard and the club’s hierarchy about his intentions this summer, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, via Transfer Tavern, having appointed new agents back in April as he looks towards the future.
And Arsenal are a number of clubs who could look to explore the possibility of signing Richarlison, who they have previously been linked with after turning their attention away from teammate Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
