Vanderbilt Women’s Tennis Team’s Spring schedule weekend continues. As reported by Vanderbilt University website, at the Miami Spring Invite, the Vandy girls had half a dozen singles games against top tier Texas on Saturday before playing three doubles games.
Anessa Lee had singles and doubles victories during Saturday’s match. In singles, Lee played to a three set win before teaming with Marcella Cruz in doubles to win tiebreakers which they eventually won 11-9. Bridget Stammel earned a straight sets win in singles, recording her fifth consecutive win and bringing her singles record to 15-2.
The Miami Spring Invite concludes with Texas in doubles on Sunday before closing out the weekend against No. 3 NC State in singles.
