Ja Morant has done it again.
In Memphis’ 130-113 win over Indiana on Saturday night, Morant has somehow outdone his best highlights in recent memory with a new submission for Dunk of the Year.
Late in the third quarter, Morant used a ball screen to create his runway and from there … Pacers forward Jalen Smith probably regrets his decision.

Morant’s dunk, which caused an uproar in Gainbridge Fieldhouse, also garnered an appropriate reaction from his teammates on the bench, who were clearly in disbelief.

Morant, a true showman, understood what he had just pulled off, acknowledging his feat with a quick stare towards his teammates.

While there were a few other NBA games going on at the time, Nets superstar Kevin Durant wasted no time taking to Twitter to share his thoughts. His thoughts: a series of four pictures reacting to the filth of Morant’s dunk.

Of course, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t share the compilation of the dunk from every angle, a video that needed less than two hours to amass over a million views.

Two-time All-Star Isaiah Thomas certainly accounted for several of those views at the very least.

It says a lot about Morant that there needs to be a discussion of whether or not this is his best in-game dunk. It definitely is, but this dunk stands at the front of a line of a much larger collection of ridiculous highlights.
As a reminder, Morant is only in his fourth NBA season, so there will be plenty more where this came from. And as always, please remember…
