Rafael Nadal, despite the many and too many injuries suffered this season as well, still managed to bring home two slam titles: the Australian Open (trophy raised in the skies of Melbourne after 13 years of absence) and Roland Garros thus concluding the year in second place, only behind Carlos Alcaraz.
Rafa is concluding his 2022 tennis season with some performances in South America where he also faced Casper Ruud a few days ago, beating him again after doing so previously at the finals in Turin.
