Victor Perez, statements

“I wanted to have a good day. I wanted to end on a good note. The work that was done during the week finally paid off. I hit the ball really well… I think I only missed one green… First of all, I remember the victory in the Netherlands (Dutch Open).

Winning again was one of my goals. So it’s definitely a good season. The results are positive because I am at the level I think I have. It’s up to me to work a little more. They are clear for all Europeans with the Ryder Cup in Italy (in September).

The Olympic Games too (in August 2024)… This is an important deadline, especially for French players. You have to place yourself. Without forgetting the top 10 for the PGA Tour (Editor’s note, at the end of 2023) We will take stock with my staff and see in which compartment we can still improve.

I will not resume competition before Abu Dhabi (January 19-22). I’m leaving for New York tonight. I stay a week to see my physical trainer. We’re going to do a year-end review. All my staff are there. We are going to perform physical, golf and bio-mechanical tests… Once all this is over, I will return home (to Scotland), and I will rest a bit… Mid-January, it will happen very quickly .

My preparation, I will probably do it in Spain, in the south of the country… And probably go directly to Abu Dhabi from Malaga” Victor Perez (born September 2, 1992) is a French professional golfer who plays on the European circuit, son of Michel Perez, former rugby player and coach, sports teacher at ENIT1.
