Floyd Mayweather is back in the ring for his latest exhibition bout tonight as he faces YouTuber Deji in Dubai. The American, 50-0 across his professional career, will be looking to put on another show, as he did when beating Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in September. Mayweather, who fought Logan Paul last year, takes on Deji in an eight-round bout.
Brother of KSI, Deji picked up the first win of his career earlier this year when beating Fousey, a victory that came after three previous amateur defeats to other YouTubers. The first of those came in 2018 against Jake Paul, who himself is now a regular on the boxing scene and caused quite a stir in Dubai.
On the undercard, Tommy Fury, who pulled out of a fight with Paul last year, went the full six rounds with Rolly Lambert in an exhibition lacking in any sort of quality or action. Chaos followed after the fight, as John Fury ripped his shirt off and tried to confront Paul. Delfine Persoon’s fight with Ikram Kerwat was ruled a no contest after a late punch from the Belgian, while Love Island star Jack Fincham fought Anthony Taylor in a four-round exhibition at the start of his career.

Deji doing press-ups between rounds, as Mayweather continues to get work on that swelling above the eye. The American turns to look at his opponent, think he might look to end this now.
Mayweather is loading up now, Deji clinches and ties him up. Good work to be fair. Deji lands an uppercut too – problem is Mayweather lands four of his own.
Mayweather piling on the pressure now, uppercut and left hook hurt him. AND IT’S WAVED OFF!
Probably a good call from the referee, stopped before Deji gets really hurt.

Mayweather getting a bit of work on that eye between rounds, that has stopped the dancing. Few verbals between him and Deji’s corner too – not sure that is going to help Deji.
The YouTuber has already made it through more than half of the fight and landed a shot that marked up Mayweather – he can be more more than happy with his efforts.
Deji lands a couple of solid jabs now, but he looks a bit hurt now as Mayweather responds with one of his own. He looks to land a big right hand, Deji ducks under it.

How much more of this does Mayweather want? Will be over the second he has had enough.
Looks like this might be it, he’s opening up a bit now. Deji landed something resembling a clean shot above the eye and Mayweather had decided to click into gear.
Warned about a couple of low shots, just swats the referee away as he marches forward. And there’s another low one – warned by the referee. Mayweather arguing with Deji’s corner while the fight goes on, they’re not happy.
Looks to be a bit of swelling on Mayweather’s eye from that earlier shot.

Mayweather doing some work with his coach in the corner, that’s ten times more challenging than what’s happening between rounds. He then strolls ove to Deji and gives him a pep talk.
This is a bit of a shambles, in keeping with what we’ve seen tonight really.
Deji throws a couple of shots, landing the uppercut. Met with a huge smile from Mayweather, who responds with two big body shots. And now a looping right hand.
Mayweather sits back on the ropes and gets his hands up, letting Deji throw something. Gets bored of that after about ten seconds though, back to dominating now.
Deji in a bit of trouble, Mayweather steps away and starts twirling and dancing instead.

Mayweather could end this literally any second. Between rounds he took the card and paraded around the ring.
He throws some punches while looking at Deji’s corner – gets caught for the first time but there’s no real power on it.
Deji’s corner speaking to Mayweather, he’s talking to them while beating up their man. Lets the combinations go as Deji is pushed back onto the ropes.
Another two minutes of Mayweather being on another planet.

This feels cruel already. Mayweather just strolling around laughing, slapping away every Deji jab. The YouTuber covers up as Mayweather threatens to move forward, American just laughs.
Mayweather with his hands by his side, dancing around and his head movement is far too good for Deji to land anything at all.

Half of Dubai seems to be following Mayweather to the ring, he’s walking as slowly as he can.
Doing everything he can to unsettle Deji… who has only ever fought YouTubers.
