The two will remain in history also for what they did as a couple, precisely in the history of the match played together in the Laver Cup (the last competition that the 41-year-old will play). In the spring of 2007, however, Federer and Nadal played something beyond all logic: the battle of the surfaces that we will hardly see again in the coming years and decades.
