Asked by Jimmy Fallon if there’s a chance for her to copy the behavior of football superstar Tom Brady and still stay in the sport, Serena Williams gave a hopeful answer. “So there’s no chance of you pulling a Tom Brady and maybe saying ‘You know what? Maybe I’m not ready.

I’m evolving into a coming back,” Fallon asked Serena. “You know what? Tom Brady started an amazing trend,” said Serena bursting into laughter.

Roger Federer asked Serena Williams to come back

Before the final match of Serena Williams at US Open, Roger Federer published a video meant to celebrate the American tennis icon.

In the video, Federer tells Serena: “Hey Serena, I’m Roger here. I wanted to congratulate you on a truly amazing career. You know what you have achieved. I know what you have done and I know and you know it was just amazing.

It is probably with mixed feelings that you are leaving this wonderful sport that has given you everything and more. I think back to ’99 at the US Open when you played against Martina Hingis. I stayed up late to see you fight and that was the start of a career that has been incredible.

We will always welcome you with open arms and we will always be happy to see you again; so please come back. And for now, enjoy this moment, enjoy these weeks at the US Open. I think of you and you have all my respect and I wish you all the best for the future.

Take care of yourself, Serena! I wish you all the best for your family and your fans, and I am one of them, we will miss you!” Watch Roger Federer video message here: “Serena Williams, please come back!”
