Golf legend and businessman died at the age of 83!

Herbert Vollrath Kohler Jr. , American billionaire and the executive chairman of the Kohler Company, died at the age of 83. Kohler was a big fan of golf and the owner of three-time PGA Championship host Whistling Straits. He was an inspiration to many people in the world.

Herbert left a big mark on the business scene and on the golf scene. His family issued a statement; “His zest for life, adventure and impact inspires all of us. We traveled together, celebrated together, and worked together.

He was all in, all the time, leaving an indelible mark on how we live our lives today and carry on his legacy”.

PGA Tour statement: Herb was a great friend of the PGA Tour

Herbert left a big mark on the PGA Tour with his ideas and passion for golf.

With his work, he helped the world of golf “Herb Kohler was a larger-than-life figure whose enthusiasm and love of golf helped bring significant men’s and women’s professional events to the State of Wisconsin over the last 25 years while transforming his home state into a golf destination.

A First Tee trustee, Herb was a great friend of the PGA Tour, and his regular presence over the years at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am gave us all a first-hand look at his passion for the game. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kohler family”.

– PGA Tour issued a statement. There are many golf players who have expressed their condolences and sadness at the passing of a legend. Kohler was a man loved by many. He was ready to help everyone, worked hard, and made his name over the years.
