After the success achieved at the US Open 2021, Emma Raducanu has not been able to express her best tennis with continuity and is experiencing a very complicated season. The British player, in recent months, has received several criticisms for having signed numerous sponsorship contracts with some of the most famous companies in the world, including Tiffany & Co., Dior, Porsche and Vodafone UK.
According to some tennis insiders, who have expressed their opinion by commenting on her latest performances on her web, the player born in 2002 would have given more weight to off-court factors than to the tournaments played.

The great opportunity to smile again on the tennis court will arrive in the United States. Raducanu stunned the tennis world by winning her first US Open Grand Slam title and will do anything to repeat herself at Flushing Meadows.
Even before the start of the last major of the year, however, Raducanu ended up in the eye of the storm for the choice of the new coach. The British has in fact chosen to temporarily rely on the Russian coach Dmitry Tursunov, former coach of Aryna Sabalenka and Anett Kontaveit.

Chris Bryant, a Labor MP, attacked Raducanu bluntlynto the Telegraph: “The Kremlin will use this decision for its propaganda as a clue that Britain is not all that worried about the war in Ukraine.
It would be a shame if Emma went ahead with this idea of her, I ask her to seriously reconsider and condemn Putin’s barbaric war.” We will see if the controversy unleashed in Great Britain will affect Raducanu’s performance in the United States.
She will have to defend the US Open title and, considering all the premises and all the problems she is living on the court, is will not be a simple task.
