There were a few moments of fear during the first day of competition at Wimbledon 2022. During the match between Ukraine’s Lesja Tsurenko and home tennis player Jodie Burrage, a ball boy on the sidelines began to feel unwell.
Welcomed by an illness and with an immediate need for help, the Englishman noticed the situation and immediately stopped the game, intervening in the first person to help him. A great gesture by the British, crucial to save the boy and allow the employees to take care of him.
Lots of applause both for the young man, who left the court for further investigations by the doctors, and for the player. Today, on the lawns of Church Road, there will finally be Serena Williams’ highly anticipated come back on the court, one year after her last appearance on the court.
Here is the video of what happened, published on Twitter.

🗣️ “Baygın hissettiğini söyledi, konuşamıyordu.
Birinin vereceğini düşündüğüm şekilde tepki verdim. Ona mümkün olduğunca yardım etmeye çalıştım.” #Wimbledon #Burragepic.twitter.com/bf5SRgWoVb — golvarmi.com (@golvarmi) June 27, 2022
