I think life is about perspective

Defending US PGA champion Nelly Korda will return to PGA Tour after blood clot surgery. In April, her surgery was successfully completed, and Korda sent a message via Instagram: “I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and messages I have received the last few weeks.

Your kind words have helped me get through this challenging and scary time. It wasn’t the start of the year I had hoped for to say the least. 2022 began with me getting COVID-19 the second week of January which kept me off my feet for some time before the beginning of the LPGA season.

Then followed up with a blood clot. I recently underwent surgery for a blood clot in my subclavian vein. I am pleased to report the procedure went well and the doctors were happy with the outcome. I am now home recovering and preparing to start rehab.

I am looking forward to getting back to 100% so I can begin practicing. Thank you again for all the well-wishes and continued privacy.” – Korda posted on Instagram,

Nelly Korda is back

She is happy to be back in a tournament like this again, and she seems to be mentally stronger than ever.

“I’m just happy to be out here playing competitive golf,” said Korda for skysports. “I gave myself a chance last week. If you told me that when I was laying in the ER, I would have definitely been very happy with that.

“I think life is about perspective, and when you look at it a different way you have a lot more respect for the game, you’re a lot more humble about it too, and you just enjoy yourself a lot more. “I think that goes a long way in golf because a lot of it is mental.”

Minja Lee is one of the players who will have a huge advantage, considering that she won the US Open and it would be a real surprise to win another major. “Two majors in one season would be really, really special,” said the Australian.

“Obviously, good play is going to result in maybe a win or contending, so I think I’m just going to focus on that.
