In the race to seek a European place, Union Berlin (8th) moved to the rival, Hertha Berlin (17th) which is playing its survival. A tense match for the 29th day of the Bundesliga that the Union started well with the opener of Genki Haraguchi in the first period (1-0, 31st). If an own goal from Timo Baumgartl (1-1, 49th) revived Hertha Berlin after returning from the locker room, it did not cool Union Berlin.

In the process, Grischa Promel, well found by Niko Giesselmann, restored the advantage to the Iron Men (2-1, 53rd). Sheraldo Becker then doubled the lead (3-1, 74th). Taking off, Union Berlin won 4-1 with a final achievement from Sven Michel (4-1, 85th), won the derby and pushed the Old Lady a little deeper.
