The next few hours will be decisive for Chelsea. Sky Sports informs this Monday that Nick Candy, a British property developer, has increased his first offer to buy the property from Roman Abramovich. The 49-year-old man’s new proposal, submitted to Raine Group on Friday, would now be around 2.39 billion euros, while the Russian oligarch would expect around 3 billion. An offer revised upwards due to the entry into play of a major Korean institution in its Blue Football Consortium.

The British media specifies that this takeover offer should be among those retained by Raine Group. The latter, a bank responsible for the sale of the Blues, will now meet to evaluate and analyze the proposals it has. Raine Group should then deliver its verdict on Monday evening, or very early Tuesday. The Chelsea sale process should then take around 1 month. Nick Candy notably announced his project of “Giving football back to the fans and putting them at the heart of CFC’s operations and strategy”also promoting “community involvement”.
