The British media reports that a Premier League star, international player with his selection, was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend after she called the police. He also allegedly sent her abusive messages late at night.
But that’s not all, The Sun also states that the player called in lawyers before agreeing a payment – which could be a five-figure sum – as part of an out-of-court settlement for hush up the matter. A case that took place in 2019 according to the media which adds that the player is no longer in contact with the victim.
