After the defeat Friday night against Norwich (3-0), the Hornets should separate from their coach. According to The Telegraph, Claudio Ranieri will soon be sacked from his position as coach of Watford. The Italian technician who arrived last October to replace the Spaniard Xisco Munoz, will therefore leave his managerial duties, only 3 months after his arrival. Ranieri is the Hornets’ eighth coach since 2019.
After 22 Premier League days, Watford, currently 18th, has only 14 points. The Hornets have not won a match since November 20, 2021 against Manchester United (4-1). Since his arrival on the Watford bench, the 70-year-old coach has played 14 games for only two wins, one draw and 11 defeats.
