The verdict of the FFF’s disciplinary committee has fallen with regard to the incidents that occurred during the abandoned Coupe de France match between Paris FC and Olympique Lyonnais. The two clubs are eliminated from the competition and OL is suspended from the competition. Heavy penalties for the Rhone club, which has just reacted on Tuesday. “Olympique Lyonnais takes note of the heavy penalties imposed by the FFF disciplinary committee and continues its work of identifying the people involved in the incidents during the PFC / OL match”, specifies the press release.
“Olympique Lyonnais specifies that four nominative complaints, accompanied by stadium bans, have been filed. They target both individual supporters and group leaders. Other complaints will follow and Olympique Lyonnais will show the greatest firmness (…) OL will continue their work and hope that the investigators and the courts will help them in the identification of the culprits, but also in pronouncing heavy sanctions against all the hooligans involved, of Paris as of Lyon ”, adds the club.
