
Nigerian striker, Ezekiel Imoh, was on target on Friday for Belgian club Standard Liege. The 19- year- old scored the winner in the match between Liege and Zulte- Waregem to increase his League goal tally for the season to 15.
The movement started down right with Liege’s Japanese forward, Kensuke Nagai combining with Frederic Bulot, who in turn passed the ball to the Nigerian youngster who put the ball away from a possible offside position.
The questionable manner with which the goal was scored was not enough to change the fact that Standard Liege now move to third place, three realizable points behind leaders, Anderlecht.
Standard Liege came from 3- 1down to win at the Regenboogstadion Waregem, in a match considered as the most memorable game of the play- offs fixtures so far.
The young Nigerian footballer is yet to be capped at any level of national football.
