Operatives of Jigawa State Police Command have arrested three suspected armed robbers in Katoge village, Kazaure Local Government Area of the state.
INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that the criminal elements were apprehended on Friday, following credible intelligence report and swift response by operatives attached to Kazaure Divisional Police Headquarters.
It was gathered that the three suspects had conspired and stormed the residential houses of one Nawaila Mustapha Umar and Sani Kaska, all of Katoge Quarters in Kazaure town, and made away with their valuables.

This was contained in a statement on Sunday by Spokesman for Jigawa State Police Command, Lawan Shiisu Adam.
He said: “On 4th July, 2025 at about 0400hrs, following a credible intelligence report and swift response by operatives attached to the Kazaure Divisional Police Headquarters, Operation Salama, Vigilante and Community Neighborhood Watch, three suspects were apprehended in Katoge village shortly after allegedly terrorizing residents and dispossessing them of their belongings.

“During the operation, police recovered one locally made Dane gun (short range), one power bank, one mattress, two sheep and the sum of fifty thousand naira.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had conspired and stormed the residential houses of Nawaila Mustapha Umar and Sani Kaska, all of Katoge Quarters in Kazaure town, and made away with their valuables.
“The suspects are currently in custody and under investigation. Upon conclusion of thorough investigation, the suspects will be arraigned in court to face the full weight of the law.”
