Big Brother Naija former housemate Queen Mercy Atang has finally confirmed her crashed marriage to David.
Kemi Filani reported in August, that the couple, who got married last year, seems to be having a turbulent time in their marriage once again, as Kemi Filani noticed that they have unfollowed each other. Kemi Filani also noticed that David has stopped wearing his wedding rings. His recent Instagram posts showed that the reality star’s husband hasn’t been wearing his wedding ring.
The movie star has finally confirmed the sad news, Ina since-deleted post while responding to a fan who asked if she was still married. The fan had gushed over how beautiful the mother of one is and inquired if she was still married.
“Queen, hope you’re still married because Asa, you’re too beautiful to be single”.
Surprisingly, the reality star had responded to the follower, telling her that she is single and unavailable.
“Single and unavailable”.
Recall that in October, last year, barely 7 months after their wedding, news circulated online that Queen’s 7-month marriage was on the rock. Kemi Filani noticed that the reality star had unfollowed her husband on Instagram and had deleted all photos of him. To make it worse, she had removed his name from her Instagram bio.
During the festive period, Queen had shut down separation rumors her she reunited with her husband in the UK for Christmas. Proven that she and her husband are still waxing strong, Queen shared photos of her traveling as she revealed that she was back to wifey duties.
Her husband, King David, also proved that all was well between them as he welcomed her home and promised to spoil her.
The reality star tied the knot in March to David Oyekanmi. Queen held her wedding introduction in her hometown in Akwa Ibom, which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Nini Singh.
Days after the introduction, the reality star and her man, David legally tied the knot. The civil wedding was held at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance.
