Police in Midrand have arrested a 22-year-old woman from Giyani, identified as Ntokoto Mabasa, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death at Colnbrook Estate in Noordwyk.
According to police spokespersons, officers responded to a complaint at around 02h00 on Monday, 22 September 2025.
Upon arrival, they found the victim, Xichavo Ntsanwisi, lying on the kitchen floor with a stab wound to the upper chest, close to the neck. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police recovered a knife believed to have been used in the attack. Mabasa was immediately taken into custody.
She is expected to appear in court soon on murder charges as investigations continue.
