Jennifer Odonwodo the widow wife of Nollywood actor Junior Pope is celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post, she said she is having mixed feelings: She is pained at his physical absence but joyed that he indeed lives on. She noted that today is their anniversary, yet there is no photoshoot for them.
Jennifer said sometimes she gets so overwhelmed that she tells anyone besides her that her late husband would come back. She stated that she never realised how soothing hugs were till she got some genuine ones after his death last year.

Refreshing your memory, Junior Pope and others lost their lives after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke on April 8th, 2024.
On April 10th, 2025, Jennifer celebrated his one-year remembrance. She noted that it’s been a year of standing in the face of unimaginable loss, and not a day has gone by without a thought of him. She said her late husband had no idea how tough it had been trying to stay strong for each other as the world around them fell apart.
In May, Jennifer celebrated late Junior Pope’s 45th posthumous birthday. Sharing a clip of the late actor and his family, she expressed sadness at not being able to celebrate him anymore with her different surprises and now, celebrating him with tears and memories.
