Controversial socio-political analyst, Reno Omokri has described supporters of former Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi as online terrorists.
Omokri said that Obi’s support group, popularly known as Obidients movement, only known for attacking people who refuse to believe their political ideology, both online and offline.
In a statement shared via his Facebook page on Tuesday, the former presidential aide, also described members of the group as dangerous individuals, whom should be placed on security notice.

Mr. Omokri added that Obi’s supporters are blindly supporting the former governor of Anambra State, saying that they only attack and bully anyone without reasonable conversation.
He added that many of them are members of Indigenous People of Biafra, possible to hack any government owned data base to achieve their agenda.
The statement partly reads: “The Obidient movement is a danger to Nigeria’s national security. They were set up to terrorise, online and offline, anybody who does not sheepishly and unreasonably support Peter Obi blindly.

“The movement is unleashed on dissenting voices to bully them and repeatedly sully their reputation until everybody is afraid to counter Peter Obi’s many lies for fear of the repercussions from that terror organisation.
“There is no difference between the Obidient movement and IPOB, none whatsoever. Look at their modus operandi. Nnamdi Kanu heads IPOB’s violent arm, while Peter Obi leads its political arm.
“Many of those who run catfish accounts on X (formerly Twitter) for Peter Obi are core IPOB members.
“These guys run an operation that has the ability to hack the social media accounts of those who refuse to be intimidated, and are even suspected to be behind cyber attacks against notable Nigerian institutions like INEC, JAMB, and WAEC, etc.
“They have physically attempted to intimidate me in my home and have severally threatened to kill my child. For that, there can be no forgiveness!
“They have successfully bullied almost everyone in the Nigerian public space, so even when public intellectuals know that Peter Obi is blatantly lying about things like the state of Nigeria’s indebtedness, they are afraid to counter him.”
