Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has revealed she is open to getting married again, though she stressed that it is not a life requirement.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Yoruba, shared on Instagram on Monday, the 58-year-old actress and entrepreneur said she still hopes for love, but ultimately believes her fate lies in God’s hands.
“On the issue of marriage, I’m still very much interested but that is if God has destined it. It is not a must. I am not saying other women should not try to get married because as for me, I am still interested in getting married,” she said.

“In fact, to show how much I am interested, when I went Al Kaaba I told God and I know he is a God that answers prayers.”
Wright, who has walked down the aisle multiple times—including with Adewale Onitiri in 2011—has seen her last union end in divorce. Despite her past experiences, she remains hopeful for a fresh start in love.
With over 20 years in the movie industry, Wright has starred in more than 100 films across Yoruba and English genres. She first gained widespread recognition with her performance in the 1999 classic Saworoide and has since remained a household name in Nollywood.
Beyond acting, she is also a businesswoman, running a fashion line named B Collections and a beauty spa called B Wright.
