The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed fears surrounding the growing opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that President Bola Tinubu is firmly focused on delivering on his mandate.
Felix Morka, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, made this known during an interview on Arise TV on Monday, where he declared that the ruling party is not intimidated by any coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.
Morka praised President Tinubu for taking bold decisions that previous leaders avoided, asserting that Nigerians elected him to implement critical reforms and confront deepseated national issues.

“The All Progressives Congress is not jittery; we have no reason to be jittery at all,” Morka said.
“We are not jittery because the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who is the leader of our party, is doing exactly what Nigerians elected him to do.”
Highlighting Tinubu’s courage in governance, Morka added, “He summoned the political will, which no other president has done before him, to confront those challenges.”
In response to the coalition’s rise, Morka stated, “We’re not concerned about any kind of coalition, whether under the ADC or under ADA or any other nomenclature that they choose.”
This comes as various opposition parties under the ADC platform intensify efforts to unite against the APC-led government ahead of 2027, citing rising insecurity, economic hardship, and food inflation.
Despite these criticisms, Morka maintained that President Tinubu remains committed to implementing structural reforms and strengthening democratic institutions.
