Former Imo Governor Emeka Ihedioha has joined the ADC, a day after its Abuja unveiling alongside Atiku Abubakar and other top politicians.
Ihedioha made the announcement on Thursday while addressing leaders of his political base, the Rebuild Imo Movement (RIM), at his Civil Centre residence.
The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives described ADC as the right platform for their political aspirations.

He charged his loyalists to mobilise support across the state. “I urge you, as leaders of our Rebuild Imo Movement, to go home to your respective chapters, wards, LGAs and zones, and take this gospel to the grassroots, to the people. We are people-oriented. Our strength is the people, the masses,” Ihedioha said.
Highlighting the depth of their grassroots reach, he stated: “We already have representation in all the booths in the 305 wards in the state, and our structure across the 27 LGAs and three geo-political zones are strong, viable and functional. Just go home and invigorate our RIM structure which is highly effective and superb.”
Ihedioha also expressed gratitude to his supporters for their patience during the transition period, assuring them that the ADC will provide a people-driven platform ahead of the 2027 elections.
