Two Suspected Robbers Nabbed, Stolen Vehicle Recovered In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen vehicle.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson, disclosed in a Monday statement that the suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence.

“The police operatives from the Yolde Pate Divisional Police Headquarters, led by SP Abdullahi Abubakar, swiftly responded to information that suspects who robbed one Sadisu Umar Sani of his black Honda Accord (2015 model) in Sabon Gari Jalingo, Taraba State, had moved the stolen vehicle to Yola.

“The suspects, identified as: Emmanuel Sale (28 years), and Jibrilla Hassan (36 years), both residents of Sabon Gari, Jalingo, were apprehended, and the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered.”

Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris praised the officers for their prompt response and ordered the case to be handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yola, instructing them to work with the Taraba State Police Command for a thorough investigation and effective prosecution.

The statement added, “Adamawa State Police Command remains resolute in its commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state”.
