Popular streamer Peller has fired back at Pastor Keseina Esiri after the clergyman criticised him and fellow TikTok personality Jarvis, blaming them for the academic struggles of Nigerian youths.
Pastor Esiri had earlier questioned how students could perform well in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination when they spend most of their time watching creators like Peller and Jarvis on TikTok.
Reacting to the claims, Peller took to social media on Sunday to express his anger, defending himself and Jarvis while accusing the pastor of misusing their names for attention and financial gain.

“What is this generation turning to? A pastor go to church and be preaching about Jarvis and Peller,” he said. “He is saying na Peller and Jarvis make the whole children fail JAMB. Let me tell you something, nobody is forced to watch Peller and Jarvis.”
Peller didn’t stop there. He vowed to take legal action against the pastor, saying: “See that pastor eh, we will sue you. Yes Mr prophet, we will sue you! Because you use our own name collect offering in your church.”
