Nollywood actor and politician Desmond Elliot has been slammed by a fan over his latest post.
The controversial actor shared photos from his after-party look at the AMVCA on his Instagram page.
Taking to his comment section, a fan identified as @iam_valasor let the actor know how he feels about him. The fan said that ever since he spoke about Nigerian youths, he gets angry anytime he sees his post.
“I really don’t know why, but ever since that year you went and spoke against us ‘Nigerian youths’, seeing your post just dey vex me, no offence but it is what it is”.
Surprisingly, Desmond responded to him, apologising for his statement.
“Ngwanu no vex. Na wa o”.

Recall that the politician, in 2020, during the nationwide End SARS protest, spoke against the youths and also pushed for a bill to regulate and control speech on social media at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
During an interview with TVC, Desmond apologised to the youths while noting that he had made his speech out of emotion. He also said the hatred he had received thus far was too much and advised that everyone spread love.
Lagos youths who weren’t appeased by his apology had vowed to deal with him by ensuring he lost the Lagos State House of Assembly Surulere Constituency. In addition to their grudges against him, they lamented that since Desmond was sworn into office, he hadn’t produced any positive outcomes. As such, the youths had thrown their weight behind the Labour Party’s candidate and actor, Olumide Oworu, who unfortunately lost the election.
To appease them, Elliot had commissioned the installation of high-capacity transformers in Surulere.
