The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii on Saturday, commiserated with the All Progressives Congress, APC, and its gubernatorial candidate, Francis Nwifuru, over the ghastly accident that took place in the state.
Odii said this in a statement that was endorsed by Moses Idika, the party’s deputy director of the media and publicity campaign.
He lamented the misfortune of the incident and thanked God for preserving the lives of the victims. According to Daily post.
In addition, he expressed sympathy to anyone who might have been hurt in the collision that occurred on the Abakaliki-Afikpo Federal Highway but from which the Speaker was unharmed.
Odii additionally exhorted all Ebonians, in particular political party candidates, to uphold the spirit of decorum and decency throughout their campaigns.
He said that only God has the ability to provide authority, that his political party supported peace and togetherness, and that no ambition is worth an Ebonyian’s life.
