DC Chiniot reviews facilities at city parks
CHINIOT – Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan, accompanied by Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Muhammad Arif, visited various parks in the city and conducted a detailed review of the facilities provided to citizens, cleanliness, beautification efforts and other administrative matters. The DC visited Quaid-e-Azam Park, Ladies Park, Gents Park (Satellite Town), Library Park and Lahori Gate Park. During the visit, she inspected ongoing and required beautification works, tree plantation, plant maintenance, lighting, water supply, condition of swings, walking tracks, cleanliness and other civic amenities. Ayesha directed the relevant officials to further improve the beautification, renovation and restoration of all city parks. She emphasized promoting tree plantation and ensuring proper care of existing plants, while also maintaining lighting, water supply and other facilities in functional condition. She issued orders for timely repair and maintenance of walking tracks, swings and other public amenities. She stated that providing a healthy, clean and pleasant environment for citizens is a priority for the district administration. Noting that parks serve as vital hubs for recreation, exercise and healthy activities, she called for making them more beautiful, lush and attractive to the public. She also instructed officials to ensure regular monitoring of cleanliness and other arrangements in the parks.
