Kylian Mbappé and Ester Expósito’s Romance Continues to Make Headlines

Real Madrid and France star Kylian Mbappé and Spanish actress Ester Expósito have continued to attract attention in 2026 as their increasingly public relationship becomes one of the year’s most closely followed celebrity romances.

The pair were first linked earlier this year after being spotted together in Paris, with subsequent appearances in Spain and elsewhere in Europe fuelling speculation about their relationship. Although neither has formally confirmed their relationship, repeated photographs of them together have provided fresh interest.

Their summer appearances included trips to Sardinia and Ibiza, where they were photographed together aboard yachts. In late July, they were also seen together in Miami following France’s World Cup campaign. Reports from the period showed the two spending time together away from football and entertainment events.

Mbappé appeared to make the relationship more visible in August when he included a photograph of Expósito in an Instagram carousel documenting his summer holiday. The post marked one of the clearest public acknowledgements of their connection, despite their generally private approach to their personal lives.

Expósito, best known internationally for playing Carla Rosón in Netflix’s Élite, has also faced a wave of false online claims concerning her private life. In July, she criticised what she described as fabricated and defamatory stories, including AI-generated images, and said she was prepared to use legal measures against those responsible.

The actress has since continued her professional work while Mbappé returned to Real Madrid following the World Cup. Their repeated public appearances, however, have kept their relationship firmly in the spotlight.
