NSSF Acquires 30 Percent Stake in Kampala Marriott Hotel for UGX 180 Billion
NSSF has invested US$50 million, approximately UGX 180 billion at the time of the transaction, for a 30 percent stake in Kampala Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments, according to New Vision. Approved after more than a year of board scrutiny, the investment broadens the Fundβs portfolio into hospitality, where opportunities in tourism and business travel come with an obligation to deliver returns on workersβ savings.
