Excise Officials Seize 365 Kg Ganja worth Rs. 1.82 Cr in Khammam

Bhadrachalam: The excise officials seized marijuana worth Rs 1.82 crore being transported from Odisha to Maharashtra.

According to officials, a raid was conducted near Veerabhadra Function Hall in Bhadrachalam on Wednesday under the leadership of the District Task Force (DTF) Kothagudem team when Divarak Mandal from Odisha, who was coming on a bike, was stopped and nine kg of marijuana was found.

Later, when a Hyundai car coming from that direction was stopped and inspected, 100 kg of marijuana was found and Suman Pal from Odisha was arrested. Later, on the information given by Diwakar and Suman, a lorry parked at Karunagiri was inspected and 263.2 kg of marijuana was found in it.

With this, Rajasekhar Margi and Brijan Nasa were arrested. As many as 365 kg of ganja worth a total of Rs. 1.82 crore was seized and four people were arrested.
