Wealthy Masaka Businessman Alex Lubowa Murdered as Woman Gives Chilling Account

Police are holding Fatumah Nabatanzi as investigations continue into the murder of Masaka businessman Alex Lubowa.Nabatanzi was reportedly traced to Kampala through phone records and other leads before being taken into custody and later returned to the alleged crime scene.

According to her account, she and Lubowa were attacked by unknown men who allegedly beat him with sticks, causing his death. She claimed the attackers also threatened and sexually assaulted her before demanding money.Nabatanzi reportedly told investigators that she was forced to search Lubowa’s pockets and hand over cash found on him before the attackers fled.She has denied any involvement in Lubowa’s death, insisting that she was also a victim. Police are continuing investigations to establish what happened and identify those responsible.Lubowa’s death has left his family, friends and the Masaka community mourning the sudden loss.
