Dele Farotimi Reacts As Court Orders Wike’s Son To Submit American Passport Over $2.1M Land Dispute

Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has reacted after a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered Jordan Wike, the son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike to submit his passport over $2.1 million land dispute.

The statement of Dele Farotimi was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

This followed allegations by the claimants that Jordan had agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 60 hectares of land in Abuja.

According to PM News, Justice Sylvanus Oriji ordered Jordan Wike to produce his American international passport in court over the disputed land transaction.

However, Dele Farotimi has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said Jordan resembles his father.

“When your grandpa was the GM of many companies that exists solely in your father’s inebriated imagination, you surprise nobody when you catch them young”.
