Russell County man killed in crash involving pickup, semi, near Russell

RUSSELL COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – A Russell County man is dead after a Monday morning crash involving a pickup and a semi.

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office said the crash, reported at about 9:21 a.m., happened north of Russell, on 180th Street, about one mile south of Fairview Road.

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office said the crash investigation showed that a Ford F-350, driven by Ethan Dickerson, of Paradise (Russell County), was traveling north and the semi (described as a 2012 Peterbilt) was traveling south when the collision happened.

Dickerson died at the scene, the sheriff’s office said. As of Monday evening, further details on what led up to the crash weren’t available.
