Teacher Unions Reject Government Plea, Vow To Stay Home Until Salaries Reflect On Payslips

According to a report by JoyNews on September 28, 2026, teacher unions have rejected a plea from the government and say they will remain at home until their salaries reflect on their payslips.The unions are on strike and met with the Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu today.
