According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Sunday 27 September 2026, Kingsley Chinda, also known as O.K. Chinda, is a candidate for governor in Rivers State. The All Progressives Congress (APC) branch has denied rumors that the Supreme Court has rejected his candidacy.
