The Football Association has released the list of 14 approved venues for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League, following inspections and clearance by the GFA Club Licensing Department as of August 17, 2026.

The approved venues ahead of the new season include the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, Accra Sports Stadium, University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Duns Park in Bibiani, Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Sambreboi and TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

The list also features Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem, AAK II Sports Arena, Tuba Astro Turf, Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Golden City Park in Berekum, Nana Boamah Darko II Park in Kukurantumi and Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.

The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season will officially kick off over the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, with the 30-week campaign scheduled to conclude on the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.

The league will maintain its established competition format, with the majority of matches scheduled for weekends to maximise fan engagement and stadium attendance. Midweek matchdays will be reserved exclusively for outstanding fixtures, ensuring a balanced, efficient and well-managed competition calendar throughout the season.
