The 2026-27 Ghana football will begin on September 5th across the country and Sudan National team coach, Kwesi Appiah, has wished Asante Kotoko well ahead of the upcoming season.

Kwesi Appiah, who was part of the club’s interim management committee [IMC] last season, has urged the fans to remain patient and united as the Porcupine Warriors begin their 2026-27 Ghana Premier League.

“Ghana football is starting this week! I wish Asante Kotoko well. Good luck to all the guys”. I urge the supporters to be patient with the players and the technical team”.

“Well, things didn’t go well as we were all expecting, but I believe this season the players will make Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II happy, and everyone who supports Asante Kotoko will be happy”. Kwesi Appiah told ghanasportspage.com.

Asante Kotoko will begin this year’s campaign on Sunday, September 6th as they travel to Berekum to face the newly promoted side, Debibi United FC at the Golden City Park.
