Safaricom Disappoints Kenyans as It Reveals What Will Happen If You Hand In an Old Phone or Charger

Kenyans have days to clear out forgotten gadgets, but Safaricom has delivered a message that may disappoint many: nobody will be paid for handing them in.The telecommunications company has announced a nationwide electronic waste collection drive, giving customers until November 13, 2026, to surrender phones, chargers, earphones, batteries and other small electronic accessories.
