Kenyan Lawyer Alleges Who Made Trump Lose in the US Mid-Term Elections

Kenyan lawyer Donald Kipkorir has blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the setback he says United States President Donald Trump and the Republican Party have suffered in the midterm elections.

In a statement, Kipkorir claimed that Netanyahu has destroyed Trump’s presidency and badly damaged his party.

According to Kipkorir, Trump won overwhelmingly two years ago on a simple slogan, America First.

He alleged that Netanyahu later pushed the president to change course, turning the message into Israel First. He further claimed that Republican politicians then began pledging loyalty to Israel instead of to the United States.

The lawyer also accused the Republican Party of enabling Israel’s actions in the Middle East. He alleged that the party backed what he described as a genocidal war on Gaza, as well as the destruction of Lebanon and Syria.

He added that it allowed Israel to annex the West Bank. Kipkorir further claimed that the United States attacked Iran on Israel’s behalf without any justification.

Kipkorir argued that these decisions angered ordinary Americans, who he says responded at the ballot box. In his view, voters turned their backs on Trump and the Republicans in a protest vote aimed at Israel and Netanyahu.

His remarks add to the conversation in Kenya about how conflicts in the Middle East and America’s role in them are shaping politics abroad.

Kipkorir is known for speaking his mind on global and local affairs, and his latest comments have drawn reactions online, with some agreeing with his assessment while others see it as a one sided reading of the election outcome.
