Once You Pick The Ballot Paper, Don’t Contemplate And Don’t Even Look At It, Just Press On APC- Wike

The former governor of Rivers state and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has told his supporters to vote for the All Progressive Congress, APC in the 2027 General Elections.

This statement was contained in a video that Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to Nyesom Wike shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The FCT Minister made the statement while addressing a large in Abuja. In the video that surfaced online, Nyesom Wike said on the day of election, the people should not bother checking the ballot paper. He said they should just vote for APC.

“Once you pick up the ballot paper, don’t contemplate and don’t look at it, just press on APC. If they say hold on, continue pressing APC”.
