Bank of Ghana Releases Latest Dollar, Pound, and Euro Exchange Rates for November 3, 2026

The Bank of Ghana has released its daily exchange rates for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, giving Ghanaians an updated look at how much the US Dollar, British Pound, and Euro are trading for. The rates show how much the local currency, the Ghana cedi, is worth against these major foreign currencies.

For the US Dollar, the central bank is buying at GH¢11.6542 and selling at GH¢11.6658. This means if you are going to a bank to buy dollars, you will pay a little more than what the bank pays when it buys dollars from you. The difference is known as the spread.

When it comes to the British Pound Sterling, the Bank of Ghana is buying at GH¢15.6364 and selling at GH¢15.6520. The Euro is also trading with a buying rate of GH¢13.0532 and a selling rate of GH¢13.0641. These figures show that the pound is currently the most expensive of the three currencies, followed by the euro and then the dollar.

The Bank of Ghana explained that these are the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Monday, November 2, 2026. This means the rates give a general picture of how the market closed the previous day, and individual banks may have slightly different rates for their customers.

These daily exchange rates are important for anyone planning to travel, import goods, or send money abroad. For the ordinary person on the street, it simply shows how much cedis you need to get your hands on foreign currency. The rates also help businesses plan their costs and give the public a clear idea of how the cedi is performing against major world currencies.
