Schoolmates Demand Justice for Javits Frimpong After Fatal Bronx Shooting

Schoolmates, Ghanaian children, and other African communities across the United States have continued to demand justice for Javits Frimpong, a young Ghanaian student who was fatally shot while walking to school in the Bronx, New York.

The killing has left families and friends devastated and has sparked growing calls for accountability. According to reports, Frimpong was on his way to school when he was shot in an attack that has shocked both the Ghanaian community and the wider African diaspora in the United States.

Classmates described him as a promising young man with dreams of a better future. Many of them gathered in the Bronx to remember him, laying flowers and holding signs calling for justice. They said his death has robbed them of a friend and has left a deep wound in the school community.

Members of the Ghanaian community in New York also expressed outrage over the killing. They called on authorities to act swiftly and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. Community leaders said African children in the United States deserve to feel safe while going to school and should not live in fear of violence.

The case has drawn attention to the broader concerns of African immigrant families, who often work hard to provide opportunities for their children. Parents said the loss of Frimpong is a painful reminder of the dangers faced by young people in some neighborhoods.

Fellow students and African groups have continued to press for answers, demanding a thorough investigation and stronger measures to protect schoolchildren. They said Frimpong’s death must not be forgotten and that his family deserves justice. As the community mourns, calls for action continue to grow. Schoolmates and African communities say they will keep speaking out until justice is served for Javits Frimpong.
