Thanks For The Recognition,I Can’t Believe The Fencing Of The Ka’bah Was In Green-White-Green—Tinubu

According to a video shared by Splash FM 105.5, President Bola Tinubu has expressed appreciation to the Saudi Arabian authorities for the hospitality and special recognition extended to him and his delegation during his visit to the Holy Ka’bah in Makkah.

Tinubu described the experience as a memorable moment, particularly after noticing that the barriers surrounding the Ka’bah had been painted in Nigeria’s national colours of green, white and green. He said he was surprised by the gesture and grateful for the recognition shown to Nigeria during his visit.

The Nigerian president also thanked the Saudi authorities for granting him and members of his delegation permission to enter the Ka’bah and offer prayers. He described the opportunity as a historic honour and expressed appreciation for the warm reception they received.

In his remarks, Tinubu said he was deeply moved by the attention given to him as the leader of the Nigerian delegation and as the country’s president. He noted that the use of Nigeria’s national colours around the holy site was something he had not expected, making the experience even more special for him.

The president also used the opportunity to speak about the challenges facing people and nations, expressing confidence that difficult situations could be overcome through faith in God.

He acknowledged that there were challenges and hostility in different parts of the world but encouraged people to remain hopeful and trust in God for strength and guidance.

Tinubu said, “I want to say a big thank you for the faith, for the recognition. I can’t believe the fencing of the Ka’bah was in green white green. I thank them for the hospitality and recognition given to me as the leader of the delegation and the country. We are all facing challenges and hostility around us, we will overcome it with faith in God Almighty. I am grateful forever.”

His remarks highlighted his appreciation for the Saudi authorities and the significance he attached to the opportunity to visit and pray at one of Islam’s most sacred sites.

The Ka’bah, located inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah, holds great religious importance for Muslims across the world. It is the direction Muslims face during their daily prayers and the central point of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Tinubu’s visit provided an opportunity for him and members of his delegation to pray at the sacred site while receiving hospitality from their Saudi hosts.
